TCU ACT Requirements 

According to admissions data, TCU frequently accepts applicants with ACT scores of 25 and higher.

Transfer Requirements for TCU

For admissions consideration, students who intend to transfer from another college or university must submit the following materials:

  • A questionnaire that has been completed; official transcripts from each college attended;
  • If fewer than 24 semester hours of translated work have been completed at the time of application, you must also submit a $50 application fee, high school transcript, and SAT or ACT scores. 
  • Transfer admission to TCU is contingent on a student’s ability to succeed in college-level work. 

The following factors will be considered when assessing the applicant’s overall track record:

  • cumulative grade point average; curriculum standard; 
  • Hours worked and average grade in the profile subjects; 
  • If there are fewer than 24 transferable semester hours at the time of application, high school transcripts and test results; 
  • Essay, extracurricular activities, honors, and achievements.

The applicant must be qualified to return to all prior institutions and be in good academic, disciplinary, and financial standing. 

Any college attended must provide official transcripts, regardless of whether the work was interrupted, incomplete, or satisfactory. 

Any portion of a prior academic or disciplinary record that is not disclosed constitutes a serious breach of trust and will lead to the student’s dismissal and loss of any credits earned while enrolled at TCU. 

Verifying appropriate academic credentials from an accredited college or university is necessary. 

Although a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher is typically needed for admission, a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 is needed for consideration.
