University of Miami Stamps Scholarship for International Students

The University of Miami Stamps Scholarship is now available to suitable individuals interested in pursuing an undergraduate degree in the beautiful city of Miami.
Tuition and fees, on-campus accommodation, a food plan, University health insurance, textbooks, a laptop allowance, and access to a $12,000 enrichment fund are all included in the Stamps Scholarship grant from the University of Miami.

Stamps Scholars are awarded a merit scholarship equal to the entire cost of attendance for four years of undergraduate study, which can be utilized for study abroad, undergraduate research, unpaid internships, and other educational endeavours.

Eligibility for the University of Miami Stamps Scholarship

To be eligible for the University of Miami Stamps Scholarship for International Students, you must;

  • Be an international student.
  • Fill out and submit the Common Application Form.
  • directly from your high school, send your valid high school transcripts.
  • upload your ACT/SAT scores (optional for spring or fall 2023)
  • Apply by November 1st.

Requirements to Apply for the University of Miami Stamps Scholarship

The following are compulsory documents required for the Stamps Scholarship;

  • Complete the application.
  • Supplemental essay of no more than 250 words
  • No more than 650 words for a personal statement.
  • official transcripts from high school
  • SAT or ACT scores (optional)
  • proficiency in English Test results (Non-native speakers)
  • Your high school guidance counsellor’s school report
  • One recommendation/evaluation letter may come from a teacher or a school counsellor.
  • Form of Financial Certification

Selection Process

When Early Decision and Early Action applicants submit all First-Year Admission Requirements by November 1 to apply for early admission to UM, they are automatically considered.

Candidates for the Stamps Scholarship who have advanced to the semifinal round must submit a brief essay answer.

Candidates’ applications and accompanying materials, including their responses to the predetermined essay question, will be examined to choose the finalists, who will then be informed of their status at the time of admission in late January.

The Stamps Family Charitable Foundation will interview the finalists afterwards, and news on the Stamps Scholarship will be announced by early March.
