The Cameron Impact Scholarship is a four-year, full-tuition, an impact-driven undergraduate scholarship given to 10-15 excellent high school students each year who have exhibited excellence in leadership, community service, extracurricular activities, and academics. In their drive to have a direct impact on their communities and the world at large, the Cameron Impact Student stands out among their peers. They strive to be a part of positive change agents and intend to adapt their education to that purpose. The Cameron Impact Scholarship pays for the complete tuition, fees, and books at any eligible U.S.-based institution or university.
The Cameron Impact Scholarship is a merit-based program that is available to all applicants who meet the GPA and citizenship requirements, regardless of ethnicity, socioeconomic class, religion, sexual orientation, or any other factors. They’re seeking young leaders who have shown a dedication to making a good difference in several ways.
Level/Field of Study
This scholarship is designed for University students. However high school students with strong intentions to further in college can apply too.
Host Nationality
The Cameron Impact Scholarship is hosted by the Bryan Cameron Education Foundation. Bryan Cameron Education Foundation is an NGO in America. The Cameron Impact Scholarship is strictly for Americans and not international students.
Criteria for the Cameron Impact Scholarship
- Maintain a minimum, cumulative, unweighted GPA of a 3.7/4.0 scale or equivalent in their high school studies;
- Be a full citizen of the United States of America;
- Be in the high school graduating Class of 2023, planning to enrol in a full-time course of study towards a degree at an accredited four-year U.S. college or university for the full academic year following high school graduation
- Demonstrate demonstrated proficiency in extracurricular activities, be motivated leaders with a strong work ethic, and participate actively in community service and/or civic-minded venues;
Any member of the Bryan Cameron Education Foundation staff, Board of Directors, or Selection Committee may not be connected to you or have a prior relationship with you. The Foundation has a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination based on gender, sexual orientation, marital or parental status, race, colour, religion, national origin, disability, or any other legally protected feature.
Requirements to Apply for the Cameron Impact Scholarship
Before the Application Deadline, you must submit the following three items:
- an online application,
- two letters of recommendation, and
- a transcript verifying academic accomplishment.
Recommendations and transcripts may be emailed directly to the Foundation at [email protected] or uploaded immediately within the Application when required. Please send only two letters of recommendation.

Selection Process
In the Fall of 2022, the Selection Committee will choose 75-100 Finalists for face-to-face interviews (usually at the Applicant’s high school). The Cameron Impact Scholarship recipients will be revealed in December 2022.
The Cameron Impact Scholarship requires recipients to attend an annual Cameron Impact Scholars Award Ceremony and Summit for the life of the scholarship, which is four years.
Scholarship Award
This scholarship is a fully-funded scholarship that covers not just tuition fees, and also books at any eligible U.S.-based institution or university. It runs for 4 years.
Deadline for the Cameron Impact Scholarship
The Initial Online Application can be submitted in two ways:
For the Class of 2023, the early application deadline is May 20, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. PT (NOON) and, the regular application deadline is September 9, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. PT (NOON)
On a rolling basis, applications are received and reviewed. Please bear in mind that the Foundation will only consider 3,000 applications from the Class of 2023. If and when this limit is reached, they will post a notice on the website and social media pages.
It is highly recommended that you submit your application far ahead of the deadline. The Foundation will not be held liable for any technical issues that arise after the deadline.
Summary
In many professional fields, there are several opportunities to make a positive difference. The Cameron Impact Scholarship recipients have the potential and desire to make meaningful, tangible contributions to the greater good throughout their lives. Individuals pursuing jobs in education, NGOs, government, and/or the military who have a stated professional aim of public service will receive around a quarter of the scholarships, according to the Foundation.
