Auburn University Scholarships

1. Deichelmann Memorial Scholarship

The Deichelmann Memorial Scholarship is now available at Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM). Students must have graduated in the top ten (10) per cent of their high school graduating class to be eligible. The scholarship is worth $44,000 in total, with a $10,000 annual value plus a $500 annual book stipend and a $2,000 one-time freshman summer stipend to be used for study abroad. The AUM University Honors Program requires a separate application.

The International Student Scholarship is available to new and continuing international students who pay full out-of-state tuition. These scholarships are available to graduate and undergraduate students and will range from $2000 to $4000 each year. The award is based only on academic merit and only relates to tuition.

3. AUM Continuing Merit Scholarships

To apply, currently enrolled AUM students in good academic standing must complete the following conditions by the March 1st deadline:
Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 hours of undergraduate courses by the deadline and have a cumulative institutional GPA of 2.5 or better.
Graduate students must have completed at least 6 hours of graduate study by the deadline and have a cumulative institutional GPA of 3.0 or above.

4. AUM Freshman Leadership and Freshman Housing Scholarship

Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) now has two Freshman Scholarships available. AUM Leadership Scholarship requires an ACT composite score of 20 (1020 SAT) and a high school GPA of 3.0. The AUM Housing Scholarship requires an ACT composite score of 23 (1130 SAT) and a high school GPA of 3.0. The Freshman Accommodation Scholarship pays 50% of the cost of housing for the spring 2018 term and 100% of the cost of housing for the summer 2018 term. The AUM Freshman Leadership Scholarship is a one-year grant worth $2,000 in total.

5. AUM Freshman Academic Scholarships

Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) provides outstanding scholarship possibilities to individuals who have excelled academically. For first-time, full-time students attending AUM directly from high school, the minimum academic criteria for scholarship consideration are for first-time, full-time freshmen beginning AUM in the fall. Freshman Academic Scholarships (a total of $3,750 per semester) are automatically awarded.

6. AUM Transfer Scholarships

Auburn University in Montgomery is currently offering transfer scholarships to students from any of Alabama’s regionally accredited community schools. All transfer scholarships are renewable for up to two years if you are enrolled full-time and have a cumulative minimum institution GPA of 3.0 or higher. To be considered for these scholarships, you must complete your spring 2018 semester application and submit your supplemental papers by December 15. There is no need to submit a separate scholarship application.
