AAA Scholarship Foundation

The AAA Scholarship was established in 2002 by a core team under the motto “We Make Academic Achievement Accessible.” The group collaborated to manage the Florida Tax Scholarship Program as part of the Florida School Choice movement.

The AAA Scholarship Foundation was established in 2010 to provide scholarships to low- and middle-income families in Georgia. The organization added families from Arizona two years later, and in 2015, scholarships started to be made accessible in Nevada.

The scholarships are now accessible to eligible families in Florida, Georgia, Nevada, and Arizona, though the charity also works to assist families in Alabama and Pennsylvania.

Types of Scholarship

The AAA Scholarship Foundation grants scholarships on a sliding scale to make sure that the neediest households get the most assistance.

AAA Scholarship Goal

The primary goal of the scholarship foundation when it was established more than 15 years ago was to offer educational opportunities to kids regardless of where they lived or what income level they had. Since the foundation’s inception, the main objective has been to assist as many deserving youngsters as possible.

The foundation works with parents who are looking for improved educational options that include stimulating challenges and correcting the detrimental effects that are frequently associated with academic failure or inadequate educational quality.

The foundation, a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports scholarships, receives income from businesses that transfer some of their state tax obligations to the foundation in exchange for a tax credit.

Eligibility of the AAA Scholarship

Only children aged 5 to 19 are eligible for the scholarships (or grades K-12). Students may be displaced, disabled, or low-income. More than 85% of scholarships, according to the AAA Scholarship Foundation, are awarded to students whose family income is at or below 185 per cent of the federal poverty level.
