Eligibility for Social Shifters Global Innovation Challenge

The Social Shifters Global Innovation Challenge

• is open to anyone 18-30 years old.
• enables you to enter individually or as a team (up to 5 members). Team participation is strongly recommended.
• is seeking a business solution to an environmental or social challenge. This can be a not-for-profit or for-profit idea but has to be at an early stage (less than one-year-old with no substantial funding in place).

All entries will be assessed on the basis of the following:

• Impactful: Will the business idea provide solution to an important social or environmental issue?
• Innovative: Is the idea intuitive, and possibly a breakthrough solution to the issue?
• Feasible: Could the idea be executed with financial and mentoring backing?
• Scalable: Does this idea have the prospect to be increased on a larger scale?

Submissions that has a short video pitch (not more than 60 seconds) will receive extra points in the assessment.
