The Johnson & Johnson scholarship is given to deserving Black undergraduate students who are pursuing business, STEM, or health-related degrees at a recognized four-year college. Rising juniors who are still considered sophomores at the time of application submission are eligible for this scholarship.

Criteria for Johnson & Johnson Scholarship
An applicant must be a matriculated student in the US who is pursuing an undergraduate degree full-time at a four-year institution and has a status of rising sophomore or higher.
Completed applications will be reviewed by the scholarship committee. The following criteria will be used to determine awards:
- demonstrated academic success, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- strong and ongoing involvement of the community
- present student of a STEM-related major (with emphasis on Information Technology)
- People who have already received this scholarship are ineligible to apply.
It should be noted that scholarship recipients must meet with the Johnson & Johnson committee at the BDPA Technology Conference each year. On-demand, a little amount of travel aid may be made available. Grant recipients will have the chance to take part in summer internships and coops at Johnson & Johnson in addition to receiving their scholarships.

Application Process for the Johnson & Johnson Scholarship
The committee must receive the completed application packet by June 30 in an electronic format. Only finished packets will be acknowledged. Please refrain from sending numerous emails with different documents. The applicant must take all required steps and safety precautions to ensure that the completed application packet reaches the appropriate party before the deadline.
Scholarship Reward
Ten (10) scholarship recipients will each receive a two-year, need-based scholarship of $8,000 per year to help with educational costs over the course of two academic years. Equal sums for the autumn and spring semesters will be distributed from the scholarship, which will be paid directly to the recipient’s college. Scholars who want to renew their scholarship for the following academic year must resubmit their transcripts and achieve the GPA requirements (s).
Those who are awarded scholarships will also have the chance to work as an intern with Johnson & Johnson over the summer before their upcoming senior year.
