Top 7 Essential Workers Scholarships to Apply Today

Essential Workers Scholarship: The heroes of the COVID-19 pandemic have been essential workers around the nation. While all of us at Scholarsly have been able to work from home during the shelter-in-place orders, essential workers were still reporting to work while putting their own health in danger in order to maintain essential infrastructure, public health, and safety services.

Americans rely on their essential workers more than ever to maintain a semblance of normalcy in their lives. Over the past year, our grocery store staff, postal workers, healthcare professionals, sanitation workers, delivery drivers, and much other personnel have all demonstrated an incredible level of dedication. We would like to recognize our essential workers with scholarships as our way of saying thank you for their unwavering dedication to assisting our communities through the pandemic.

Who are the Essential Workers?

Doctors, nurses, healthcare professionals, and emergency personnel on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic are crucial employees. They are the employees who keep our water, energy, sewage, food supply, and other basic utilities operating.

They include the college student who works at the grocery store as a clerk to support herself and the single mother with two college-age children who does linen work in hospitals.

They are the ones who put their lives in danger in accordance with the nation’s shelter-in-place instructions in order to preserve the lives of others and maintain civilization. However, many of the crucial employees barely make enough money to live on. In order to show our appreciation for their sacrifices, we felt we should make an effort to persuade businesses and organizations to fund scholarships for workers who are crucial to society.
