Eligibility for QUT International Merit Scholarship
All of the following prerequisites must be met by you:
- met the minimal English language entry requirements for the degree programme
- passing a qualifying course with the necessary grade. Once you begin your degree programme and receive an admission offer letter into one of the eligible courses offered by participating faculties,
- you may be eligible for this scholarship if you complete a QUT pathway programme in order to satisfy QUT English language requirements.

- You are given yet another academic scholarship from QUT.
You must have a history of demonstrating academic excellence and maintain high standards throughout their studies. You are urged to maximise your QUT experience through additional development opportunities that improve your leadership abilities and professional networks in addition to receiving financial support.

There is no deadline for the QUT International Merit Scholarship. The scholarship depends on admission to be activated. As long as you meet the scholarship requirement and have gained admission to study at Queensland University of Technology, you are good to go.
How to Apply for QUT International Merit Scholarship
Candidates for the QUT International Merit Scholarship do not need to submit a separate application.
The scholarship applications that applicants submit in order to gain admission to Queens University of Technology are also evaluated.
Their eligibility for the scholarship programme will be communicated to QUT officials via email.
